Photographs collected by George Moore, mostly relating to the career and life of Vernon A. Cartwright (1884-1953), dating from circa 1909-1940. Subjects include Cartwright with King George V of England during Cartwright's service with the British Army during World War II, as well as his appearance in various productions of the Portland Civic Theater, circa 1919-1940. There are also photographs of various residences, some unidentified, including the John Crellin home in Oysterville, Wash. Photographers include Louise Phillips, among others.
